eine ethnische Minderheit mit ca. 30000 Menschen die vor allem in Grossgemeinde Prizren leben und mit ziemlich stark, in West Europa, ausgeprägter Diaspora. Genetische Forschungen besagen, dass sie zu den Urvölkern Balkans gehören. Nach der Zerfall Jugoslawiens haben sie sich, sprachlich und gebräuchlich, mit Bosniaken Bosniens identifiziert.
Wie alle Bosniaken aus ehemaligem Jugoslawien bekennen sie sich zu sunnitischem Islam.
In Schweiz sind mit ca. 2000 Familien präsent und in verschiedenen Vereinen versammelt. Der bekannteste davon ist die Gemeinschaft der Kosovo Bosniaken mit über 542 aktiven Mitgliedern.
Die Kosovo Bosniaken eine zahme Ethnie mit ziemlich niedriger Kriminalitätsrate und die zu 80% in Schweiz eingebürgert ist, kurz:
